Leading creative Ollie Tait joins Lambent

Ollie Tait, Executive Producer behind ITV’s major new factual drama series ‘THE GREAT WAR: THE PEOPLE’S STORY’, is joining Lambent to become joint MD alongside Emma Wakefield, marking the beginning of a new creative push. 

Ollie joins Lambent from Shiver and ITV Studios where over the last 9 years he made a wide range of factual programmes, from the landmark obs doc series THE SAVOY to the RTS-Nominated WORDS OF… drama-documentary series, including the recent ‘IF I DON’T COME HOME – LETTERS FROM D-DAY’ for ITV1. His major four-part drama-documentary series to mark the centenary of WW1 – ‘THE GREAT WAR: THE PEOPLE’S STORY’ – is to be broadcast on ITV in August. 

He will lead the company with founder Emma Wakefield as they develop their production and development slate across factual and education, and move into factual drama.

Lambent has grown significantly since it was founded in 1996, expanding on its expertise in education to make award-winning documentaries, and factual series Recent hits include OUT OF JAIL AND ON THE STREETS for BBC1 and THE SECRET LIFE OF RUBBISH for BBC4. The company produced RTS award-winning BBC3 documentary series KIDS BEHIND BARS, and more recently DEAD BEHIND BARS for the Justice Season as well as their first film for Channel 5 , THE WOMAN WITH 40 CATS AND OTHER PET HOARDERS.
